Was curious what other posters thought about the 4th quarter last night vs the Bucks. I don't ever remember the C's doing anything like this with Jaylen, particularly at the end of an important game. I thought it really worked. He ran the point and the ball moved.

The defense has  to cover him differently than it does Smart or Schroder, and it got Tatum off the ball too. He didn't press and try to do too much, and the other guys did a great job of making that extra pass. It was the smoothest 4th quarter offense I've seen in a long time from these guys.

Ainge said they would try it. Jaylen needed to improve his handle to do this though.

It’s not a sustainable full-time strategy, but I like that it shows Ime  knows Marcus Smart is not the long term solution at point, and that he knows he needs to be creative in eliminating Tatum and Brown taking turns isolating in the half court.
