One of the potential landing spots for Hield is the Boston Celtics. In a recent article, Jack Simone of Fansided's Hoops Habit came up with a hypothetical blockbuster trade idea that would send Hield to Beantown before the 2022 NBA trade deadline.

In the proposed trade scenario, the Kings would be offering Hield and De'Aaron Fox to the Celtics in exchange for Jaylen Brown, Josh Richardson, Payton Pritchard, and Juancho Hernangomez. If the trade becomes a reality, it would help both teams in filling up the needs to improve on their roster.

Not a horrible idea I'd Denis is one and done with the celtics.  Fox is as fast as it gets a good fit with Tatum.  Hield is a better shooter than Brown and maybe a better fit as well.

Not bad, but I think it's an idea not a rumor, yet anyway.
Larry Bird was Greater than you think.

Not sold on Fox as a winning player. Seems more of a stat-padder on middling teams than a true winning player. I'd rather try to target a less glamorous PG but more team orientated PG like a younger version of Conley or a Lowry.

I don't think either one of us knows the answer to that Who, but I can attest to the kids character.  Which is off the charts high.

He q fantastic human being and I think Ime and Tatum would love to play with him.

It's not a rumor. It's an idea, and not a really good one at that.

Yeah, anything from Fansided is just someone who could post on these forums but writes up something there instead.

If this Fanside author actually watched Sacramento this season, they’d know Fox has gone backwards. Fox like Hield, is a sieve on defence, all his field goal percentages have gone down and his long term issue of his shooting stroke shows no progress.

Brown has turned himself into a blue chip level star. If the Celtics were going to move him, it’s going to be for another blue chip guy.
5' 10" former point guard

Career highlight: 1973-74 championship, Boston Celtics

Career lowlight: traded for a washing machine

crappy deal idea for the C's.  give up the best player by far in Jaylen and with the way Richardson's been playing the past month, quite possibly the second best player as well in Richardson.  A year ago, Fox and Hield looked like an appealing backcourt to acquire.  this year, not really.  certainly not at that cost.  that's not even looking deeper into how adding those 2 players would kill the defense this team has been playing lately.

still not seeing how C's would be giving up PP and Jauncho as well.  just a really poorly thought out idea

It is not character. It is style of play.

His game is orientated around him having the ball in his hands making the move. That is fine. His efficiency in doing so however is only so-so. He is a player who can shoulder a large load offensively on bad to medium offensive teams but not someone who can lead great offensive teams.

Why? Lack of high efficiency scoring (Lillard, Steph Curry) via long range shooting or ability to finish at the rim (Morant, Tony Parker). His playmaking is good but again not great largely because he cannot force the defense to worry enough about his scoring but of his so-so efficiency.

Then you look at his off-ball offensive game and you see a player who doesn't impact the game without the ball in his hands because of his dodgy outside shot. So he doesn't play well next to other high usage offensive talent due to limited off ball game + he requires the ball in his hands to be effective himself which means fellow stars have to move off-ball to incorporate him which he is not efficient enough in doing to justify.

He is one of those high usage low impact type of stars.

Again, it is not character. It is skill & style of play.

Not a fan of Fox’s game, mostly for the reasons Who stated.  Also dislike his defensive impact (or lack thereof).  Pass.

I proposed similar trade ( Brown for Fox and Barnes) a year ago on this sight and was crucified.
