To me this kid is a phenomenal prospect .A basketball family, and gifted, strong athletic with a prototype body long wingspan and a crazy motor .Only 19 till next August.
Yam Madar another stashed draftee is shifty he very good lateral speed a pest on defense and of course some skinny players Lemelo and trey are making that weakness look silly.Great motor and plays both ends of court.A true point guard his vision and passing skills.
Fun to watch but i'll take Juwhann in a heartbeat-he is the real deal.

I was the " Oh Yeh! The skinny kid that was all over the court" Rolle Massimino said after introducing myself on a phone call after 50 years. When i was playing he used to call me Boneyard  or Mickey Mouse cause my ears stuck out with his mandatory short hair =So the "girls wouldn't be after us".He used to laugh about that and the 4 B's--Booze ,Butts,Broads and Books" that was what to watch out for. And he was right. Didn't remember me as Captain or best shooter from deep
.I learned it was better to initiate contact going over a screen and was  all elbows and knees .One player said i was calorically challenged and sharpened my elbows before practice. on a Face Book reuionTn those days we were drilled and drilled boxing out.And elbows were weapons when you could clear a cylinder or were taught the bully move using the defenders attempt to block a lay up and your elbow being part of the shot to his chin.

Books -not studying leading to poor grades. He held an hour study group before every practice. He was was Italian and from tough Hillside NJ
.He was short ITALIAN GUY with a temper and an animated coach like a cross of Joe Pesci and Danny DeVito. His father owned a shoe store in Hillside and back then he wore Italian expensive alligator/crocodile thtie shoes. One halftime we were losing and he wound up in complete tirade a kicked  a metal trash can  and buckled the toe of his treasured alligator shoes.Lexington had never seen a pair of shoes like thatstraight out of a mob movie..

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

I only watched a bit of the summer league, but Begarin looked the part.  I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s a legit NBA player in a few years.

Hah!  And I thought you were going to say you accidentally used a k instead of a b in books.  Shows were my head is. Anyway, glad to hear Rollie did value the books.
