Milsap looks pretty cooked. I am glad we did not end up with him. We wouldn't have gotten Kanter and could have impact schroeder signing.

Man, I love Patty. Don't care what uni he wears.

I feel like he'd roll high on the "best teammates to have" chart.

Awful offense out there right now.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

Smart, on cue, with another awful decision. As soon as we're healthy he goes back to being woeful with his shot selection.

SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)

Smart CAN'T be taking the most shots out there. CAN'T!

Would be nice if the coach let him know this common sense!

Just got home from work.  Wish we could solve our first quarter woes.

Start Schroder over Smart.

Who is Smart guarding?

He doesn't guard at a high level at all anymore. He plays like Rondo did towards the end of his time

I disagree, and looked up some stats;

Literally league leading steals, no. 11 in defensive box +- and defensive win shares.
Rondo was constantly near the lead for steals per game towards the end, which is exactly my point - relying on defensive gambling.

Jokic and Avdija are both in the top 10 in defensive BPM. Sabonis and KAT are both top 17 in defensive win shares. I think his defensive numbers are bolstered by the elite play of Al and Rob more than anything

lol you really don’t like Smart when you credit Al and Robert Williams for his numbers.

KD played the whole quarter. This will bode well for us. Just keep it close

One thing that Tatum needs to improve on is his decision making in transition.  It feels like he hesitates and is slow with the ball.  Where if he was a bit faster and decisive and quicker on the dribble in transition he would get a lot more in the paint easy looks.  Or he would be getting other guys open looks.  He has done it twice tonight.  I know it is being nitpicky but....I wish he had that next gear when he has his dribble.
