Tatum is averaging 34.6 PPG, 9.3 RPG, 4.0 APG , 51% FG and 45% 3PT his last 3 games

Has he finally arrived this season? Will the yearly “he needs to be traded” beginning of the season hot takes be put to rest?

I think the trade ideas will quiet down now yes lol...Tatum has a lot of slow starts.  We all know what he can do.

What?  It seems like it's been mostly "trade Brown and build around Tatum".

Tatum had 5 assists last night but 14 potential assists.  Over the last 3 game stretch has 12 actual assists but 32 potential assists. He would probably be averaging 5-6 assists/game on the year if he had even average shooters around him.

The drive and kick for the corner three has been steadily producing open 3's - and the eye test shows he's making better (less lazy/unnecessarily flashy) passes.
Yup

It was until Brown had a few good games and Tatum was in a funk. Now that Tatum has figured it out, if Brown has a few poor games due to rust, it will be back to “Trade Brown!”

Too many people on this board think they can’t play together and I don’t know why. I don’t think they play the same position or the same type of game at all, yet I constantly see that claim.

I blame NBA2K for the knee-jerk, trigger-happy, blind salary-matching, sats trading mentality of most of the posts on this board.

Everyone thinks they're a GM, nobody has ever managed human beings. Or not to the extend that happens in a fast paced competitive environment.

Developing talent, locker-room cohesion and other behind-the-scenes reasons to keep people don't get valued at all.

I dunno. When I look at what the Celtics have done over the last decade, I see so many great actions. I see so many great results. And I see very few actual stinkers.

So yeah, I'ma go against any trade for now. I just wanna see this team gel better. Which has been happening, for sure, over the course of this still-young season.

Patience.

He is taking more balanced shots now and viola all the sudden they are falling. There is no need to over complicate a shot.

I think he realised that if he's a passing threat, he gets more and more open looks.

(turns out, if you pass every now and then, guys will start biting on your pass fakes a bit more)

Tatum looks more engaged now without the ball. He's cutting and hustling on the other side. That's a nice development for him.

Definitely.  Not so much side stepping/back stepping and falling away.
