Boston gets Buddy Hield

Sacramento gets Josh Richardson, Romeo Langsford & Juan Hernangomez

If Kings continues to lose, then they may clean house with Hield, Bagley, Thompson & whoever.. sounds like their turmoil there anyhow..They get expiring contract in Juan, a young Romeo & and Josh with 1 year left..doubt Kings do this but if Hield wants out, then they might
C/PF-Horford, Baynes, Noel, Theis, Morris,
SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark
PG- Irving, Rozier, Larkin

At least 1 first has to go back to Sac there. Even so, that’d be a no brainer for the Celts. Kings could get a better return though.

I guess people see more in Hield than I do.  I see him more like Fournier, a 3 & D guy without the D.  Inflated stats on bad teams.  I do like his diminishing contract but you are still going to be paying him around $20M a year to likely come off the bench.

He would be a nice player off the bench, for sure, I just don't know how good.  I fear you would see the Fournier effect meaning that once he gets on a more competitive team, the hollowness in his stats gets revealed.

He is a better shooter than Richardson, particularly from 3, which is valuable, but isn't Richardson better at everything else?  And even with that said, SAC likely would want something different than Richardson or why not just keep Hield?

  • Peace it's a board. We all will never agree.
Sacramento will be one of the first teams to make a trade on December 15th. Hield has more threes in less games than Steph Curry so he can shoot we need a shooter bad if smart continues to start. Nesmith will be the one who goes over Romeo. Maybe we can do a bigger trade and get Bagley.
If Simmons moves on the 15th I see many moves going down.

Don’t love this trade. Terence Ross for Juancho and a second round pick is better and more likely. Orlando is terrible and they get salary relief (Juancho has one less year guaranteed) plus a lottery ticket for the second round. We get a guy who’s content to be a high energy bench guy who can score at a decent clip.

I don't think Richardson can be traded this year because of his extension.
