I've been worried about this since he jump. Al and TIMELORD are both very good centers but both are injury risks. In limited time Kanter has looked useless. I really thing we need a third string center than can be at least serviceable. Robin Lopez from Orlando would be my choice.

Agreed on Robin Lopez to Celtics asap! Shortage of long people needs repair.

Yeah, we need a short center that can't shoot for our offense....

Kanter is solid if he gets consistent minutes. Throwing him in for 5 minute stints randomly from game to game isn't going to allow him to play well consistently. Plus he gives us something we haven't had in forever - aggressive rebounding.

Rob Williams looks to have the potential to be our main guy IF:
he continues to improve and develops some offense other than lob dunks and he can stay healthy.

We still would need more help inside to win titles, mainly a strong, aggressive power forward to complement our center.
We have been weak inside for much of the Ainge/Stevens era. When we were strong in the post in '08 and beyond, Ainge traded away that strength (Perk) for a soft, athletic wing (Green) and we faded from serious title contention.
