There has been a lot of flack on Richardson on this blog, but I think he's been great for us on both sides of the ball this year. He's a complementary player not a star, but I think he plays his role really well.

When someone's not hitting their shots, it's easy to be harsh.
Seems to be the reason he got dealt. If he can just be more consistent with the shot he will be a more well-rounded rotation player.

Tatum is playing a beautiful game.    Really leading our team tonight.  Becoming an excellent playmaker. And a beast on the boards.

Nice half by Rob.  Keep it up big fella.

I don't want to give it one player, but, Tatum is playing his butt off at both ends and passing like a champ.

I love Smart when he's playing within his capabilities. He's a way better point guard than he allows himself to be. Really gets in his own way.

Good all around game tonight for Marcus... except from 3 (0-2).

That's where I don't think he's doing himself any favours.

I want him to take threes. But only if the shot-clock is halfway through the single digits.

You are acting like the guy does not have the Cs record for threes made in a game…..lol

:] I'm just very well aware that only Al and Nessie are shooting worse than he is this season.

And that last year he was our 13th best 3pt% shooter.

I'm sure there's some useless people in that list with limited shots, but my point is that he's not our best option, so I'd rather work the clock to get better options.

I hope JT rolls with this mindset come the 2nd half. Don’t even think about a triple double. Just play your game JT and everything will fall into place.

Schroder having a pretty bad game.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

Schroeder has been careless with the ball today.

first half hot takes:
- overall, best team effort all season.  Tatum was a bit off, Smart was so-so and Schroder was just plain bad but the rest of the team was terrific, especially Timelord and Richardson.
- need identical effort or better to win this in the second half.  Toronto is an underrated team

Like Scal mentioned; that last one isn't on him.

Also, team needs to help him out more since he's being pressed.

they're really letting Toronto bang the crap out of the C's.  Al got manhandled on that last trip 3 times and no whistle
