There has been a lot of flack on Richardson on this blog, but I think he's been great for us on both sides of the ball this year. He's a complementary player not a star, but I think he plays his role really well.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

I love Smart when he's playing within his capabilities. He's a way better point guard than he allows himself to be. Really gets in his own way.

Good all around game tonight for Marcus... except from 3 (0-2).

That's where I don't think he's doing himself any favours.

I want him to take threes. But only if the shot-clock is halfway through the single digits.

When someone's not hitting their shots, it's easy to be harsh.

11-10-5 and he coulda been higher on assists I think? Hit a couple wide open people that then missed.

This is the progress we wanna see from him AND Jaylen; playmaking.

It's been gorgeous.

You are acting like the guy does not have the Cs record for threes made in a game…..lol

Last year there were a few moments when I thought maybe C's were turning corner.  It was wishful thinking as they never did.

I'm not convinced yet about this team... but getting close.  Passing and D have taken leaps over the last 4 games.

Nice first half, only 5 TOs.  Rob is unbelievable.

Pretty good effort so far tonight. Williams is killing this small ball lineup TOR is throwing out there, there's just nobody who can compete with his length/athleticism. He has SEVEN offensive rebounds and I think about 10 points off those.

It would be nice if the could bury TOR in the 3rd and get to rets these guys in the 4th, they have a back to back coming up friday/saturday.

According to Keith Smith

Quote
Jayson Tatum has 11 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists at the break.

By my count, the Celtics missed 7 open to wide-open shots of Tatum passes in the first half.

Can't watch but some of the looks generated by the Jays are just incredible in the past year. Sounds like even though we aren't literally nailing everything, we're playing tough and doing all the small things.

Celtics FG 48% 3PT 6 for 16
Raptors  FG  43.2% 3PT 3 for 14

Benches
Celtics 38 minutes 15 points
Raptors 35 minutes 8 points

Robert 7 for 8 with a block = 14 points (leading scorer/both teams)

He really was unbelievable.  So quick and hands are so solid with the ball.  Great to see him play like this -- no one is more fun to watch.
