Last Simmons trade proposal.  Unless it's not. I'm so against trading Brown for Simmons it's not even funny.  However another poster suggested getting back more assets which is interesting.

Keep in mind rumor has it that Morey would not add any other assets to Simmons in a deal for Harden and word is he really regretted the fact he was so bullish with that stance.

The fillers I propose are Juancho and Bruno. Prichard maybe needed to sweeten it since we are getting Maxey and Curry.

My question is does this make us better this year? And in the future? We certainly are deeper,  better passing,  better defensively with a young PG for the future  in Maxey only 21 years old. 14ppg 5apg

Horford/Timelord
Simmons/Grant
Tatum/Nesmith/Langford
Curry/Smart/Richardson
Maxey/Schroder/Prichard

 Tp for the honesty.

And do you think we could finish with 50 wins this year with that squad.

I probably still wouldn't do it, but that's much closer to a realistic deal than just a Simmons for Brown swap.

when Boston goes 6-2 or 7-1 in the next 8 without Brown, will you still be saying that?

Of course.

Wait hang on did we just ever so subtle go from "JB is the best player on the team" to "JB is a detriment to the team"?!/?

I’m a no way. I think Jaylen is the best player on the team right now and I trust he’ll keep working to improve. I wish he was the understood #1 option right now.

I love how you're talking about us going 6-2 or 7-1 in the next 8 without Brown like it's a certainty, we're painfully mediocre with him on the court, what makes you think that the purple patch merchant who has a worse on/off (your pet favourite stat!) than Brown this season to carry us to that record

Absolutely, it's amazing that he's now making statements like these now that he can't find any stats that he can peddle his narrative on now that Jaylen isn't being played as a corner shooting specialist lol.

So you don't think Boston is going to go at least 6-2 over the next 8.  Who are they going to lose to?

Toronto
Milwaukee
@ Cleveland
@ Cleveland
@ Atlanta
Los Angeles L
Oklahoma City
Houston

If they don't go at least 6-2, they might as well write the season off and just start dumping everyone.
