That Timelord is turning into a stud center! Man he had an excellent game!!!

It was his best game of the season. He is starting to look more like his old self.  Loved his energy tonight.

Two massive Q4 f-ups from Smart, but at least he was able to maintain his 7ppg average.

Schroder should be starting.

Sounds like the foul at the end of the game was not supposed to happen and was a miscommunication.
So I guess we put off firing Udoka for another game?😁

I actually thought Timelord would be doing more. Playing 30mpg and averaging only  9pts/8reb with 2blks. The points I don’t really care about, but I thought he’d be grabbing more boards and blocking more shots.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Idk... not having Al, one of your top 3 players in the game at the end was pretty bad. These lineups with no shooters on the floor don’t make much sense.

It's still early in the season. Al, Jayson and Jaylen are all averaging career highs in rebounds per game and there's only so many rebounds to go around.

I see growth. I think by year's end he could be a double double guy with 2+ blocks per game.

No issues with this loss. Or this entire road trip. The team is starting to come together. Hopefully Jaylen is back sooner rather than later.

Good entertaining game.

Yeah, these games have been more and more fun to watch.

Cohesion seems up. People playing within their roles. Passing, great teamwork on defense with everyone hustling and helping and switching and etc.

Loved it today.

Let's go Celtics!

agreed. no brown. no langford. nesmith lays an egg. down 19 at one point. and they almost win it. i find this encouraging, even if a loss.

i think this team may be coming together. next game should be fun.

Next game is against the Raptors, who are playing very well and kicked our butts in the home opener. It will be a good measurement for how far we have come since then.

Plus Siakam is back with the Raptors. They’ll only get tougher.

The Mavs were playing a one big lineup in the end and Williams was playing some amazing defense. I had no problem riding the horses that closed that gap and put the C's into a chance of winning.

We can Monday morning QB every coach in the league. Fact is this was a tremendous game and about as good a loss as you are going to get. This team is definitely moving in the right direction.

Also, let's not underestimate the stuff that does NOT end up on a scoresheet.

The amount of times he forces someone to pass, the amount of times he jumps after a ball going outta bounds, etc

That’s true, that unit did get them back in the game, but I don’t like their odds of winning a close game with 1 shooter on the court.  Tatum was 6-8 from deep. The rest of the team was 3-23. The Outside shooting is awful.  :-X

This game shows us that we definitely need to have a speedy PG to run our offense who can carry the team when the wing shooters are off. Glad to have DS and hope we can sign him after this year.

More to the point, Smart is not the PG we need.
