One, who even knows if this is true? Two who cares? There are a million things to complain about with this team right now including tatums actual performance on the court. Let’s put this on like a child gossip board or something.

Sorry, I was just try to post relevant information, but you’re right this is irrelevant.

Chicken and Beer Celtics...

This particular instance doesn't sound like a big deal now but i won't be surprised if plenty of evidence emerges of a general lack of professionalism

This is the type of unfortunate situation where if you're winning nobody cares but if you're losing everything you do gets scrutinized.

They need a few wins to take the heat off themselves.
Any odd typos are because I suck at typing on an iPhone :D

This. I believe it is relevant information and not to be ridiculed as some have. I don’t think Ed deserves to be pilloried for posting this. Your star players concentration and focus is important and anything that may affect this is relevant information. How does Tatum prepare for games? Does he have a ritual? Is playing 2k part of that ritual or did he break his ritual on this occasion? Is he nervous before games and relies on 2k for relaxation? It is not a secret that he starts off slowly in games, therefore his pre-game regimen is relevant.

I think it is relevant especially because of his slow start to games. Superstar players look for every edge they can get so it is relevant what he does to prepare for games, and if it is working.

Tatum clearly worked on his body and skills...hopefully it's all good and not a chicken and beer situation though...

If that's how he relaxes pre-game I don't really care.

Roy was saying he didn't care that Tatum was playing video games.  His comment had nothing to do with you posting the information.

This definitely falls in the "who cares" column for me.

Guys get ready for games in a variety of ways.  That happens at every level of competition.

Ok, now we need the 2K community to provide data on Tatum and others playing before games vs. not playing before games to see if there is a correlation with on-court performance.

I don’t care that he plays. However, I don’t like how he is so obsessed with his 2K rating, his All-Star votes, or his All-NBA status. If he plays within a team concept, all those things will come naturally, as Tatum is ultra-talented. I just don’t think he sees it that way, and believes he needs to force shots to improve his scoring for those things to come.
