All the Ainge hate because of some small mistakes around the edges of the big picture, now look at this mess. Haters should all write Ainge an apology, maybe he’ll come back.

I have no issue with any of the moves.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

I have not seem anything impressive from the new coach whether it's after timeout plays designed and being creative on defense like the coach in Toronto does occassionally. He gets every challenge wrong . I don't know just seems a little over his head. but essentially it is the lack of effort sometimes of the players so I will give him a pass for now.

Too early to answer that question. I think extending Richardson was a safe move. He’s playing reasonably well in the 15-20 mind he’s given. Smarts extension seems like a massive overpay, though. He’s definitely not worth $18m+ per season. I don’t think any other team in NBA would have given him more than $15M annually.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Problem being that we all thought the one thing to count on with Ime and these core players would be focus and effort.
Brown, Smart, Tatum all talked about it. Ime talked about how he was gonna push these guys and make them better.

Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

This appears that it is going to take time.

I think this was partly so he could be used as a trade chip, though Brad has always been high on Smartacus.

Back to the vote, I voted for not re-signing Fournier. I get the reasons why they didn't, probably the analytics came out and they concluded he wasn't worth the money. It would be nice to have Fournier for the nights when the Jays aren't playing well though. It's a move we won't know the answer to till the end of the season.

I'm ok with everything else Brad has done so far, it's six games in. I've never slit my wrists this early in a season, with a new coach. If it's still bad getting into Christmas I might reconsider  :police:

Way too early to say

I think not resigning Fournier wins, because there was a really good reason not to do so, and that was to truly commit to developing Nesmith, Langford and Pritchard.

Shedding Fournier and not playing those guys, well... that's pretty dumb.

I would had kept Moses Brown but it’s too early right now to criticize Brad..see how this team work out plus these players now are Ainge picks
C/PF-Horford, Baynes, Noel, Theis, Morris,
SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark
PG- Irving, Rozier, Larkin

Worst right now for me feels like the Kemba deal was bad. Kemba was still a 18 pt guy and you gave up a 1st. Then you go out and spend on guards. And before anyone talks defense it's pretty clear the league is built on offense.

this is the correct answer.

i thought the same thing on brown....but then again, in dallas this year he has played in 2 games, averages 6 minutes per game, and averages 2 points and 2 rebounds a game. it is still early, but i might have been wrong on brown.

Not signing Fournier, for sure.

I think extending Richardson was suspect.  It’s too soon to tell on Smart, but giving him the PG reigns hasn’t improved his decision making.

Plenty of valid options in the poll, which can't be a good thing when we are talking about bad moves.

In fairness to Brad:
a) We are way too early into the season.
b) He pulled off some terrific deals as well. For instance, we signed Schroder for the taxpayer MLE.
c) Not re-signing Fournier may was Wyc's decision due to salary tax implications.
