The full quote: "I'm trying to ramp him up during the game, pump him up to get going. But the contrast of some of those previous games, especially Charlotte and the New York game and the way you see him come out tonight is kind of mind boggling."

Also concerning, especially from a star player.

One thing Ime has going - he’s at least not afraid to call the guys out. The question is whether he can do anything about it.

I’m glad he’s calling them out but I’m not sure if I’m a fan of him saying this to the media. It can easily backfire…

Agree.  I prefer the Belichick approach.  Tight lipped to the media while holding players accountable out of the spotlight and with playing time.  Keep everything in house.  I think that's what Brad attempted to do.

Told y’all team was soft..only a soft team will allow an opponent to burn sage around their court, and not even say a thing. Allow that same player to stamp on their logo, and not a word. Soft team, soft GM, now soft coach.

Well said. You think Garnett and Perk would have allowed that, or Max and ML, or Cowens and Silas, or Russell and Sam ??
The Four Celtic Generals:
Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:
Cousy - Havlicek - McHale - Pierce

We have the top offensive rebounder in the game and he can't get off the bench when we are getting killed on the glass.

I want Perk to coach .

I want these players see if they get hugs and smiles for goofing off ….with their secure contracts ….

And what’s this irritating bunk about paying people who don’t show up for what ever reason ,

I bet the after the Kyrie and the little Benny Simmons debacle,  it won’t help the good players cause in contract with the owners .

Perk doesn't have two brain cells to rub together, so he might not be a great coach

The whole thing was disgusting they were waiting in line to hug the guy that disrespected them.

Even Old Kobe had huge pride ,  that’s why he got rid of that smiley turd Howard off his team.

Sports

An’t

sports no more .

It started in the 80’s with …let’s give every kid a trophy….even if they did not actually achieve anything .

All that patsy crap is coming home to roost ….along with every other twisted concept modern society can think up.

I disagree. Perk I believe skipped college for the NBA but he is not dumb.

You are correct …he is very smart ....because he is southern …has a slow delivery…….then he must be dumb ……that’s how backward the the so called correct side really is.

two great posts. could you imagine max’s reaction to an opponent stomping on the logo or teammates goofing off during shoot-arounds? he’d throw punches in the first scenario and possibly in the second, too! that’s what this team desperately needs.

Perk would've folded Kyrie in half midcourt and KG would've swung elbows around at the Nets

It's not his slow delivery, it's his inability to articulate a coherent thought

That's what happens when you let a role player be the "heart and Soul" of the team. This is Tatum and Brown's team they need to lead.

Terrell Owens was laid out when he tried that nonsense on the Cowboys’ logo. And all he tried to do was celebrate a TD on the logo.
