Ime should call it what it is, these guys are bunch of soft, crybaby pansies. They've been that for several seasons now.

Even Horford, who has a reputation of being soft himself, is flabbergasted tonight seeing this.

Eh, I don’t think Al has ever been considered “soft”, just not necessarily a vocal leader. He’s always a hard worker and intense player.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

Well he was clearly disgusted and vocal about what he saw tonight in his postgame comments.

The two bigs don't work.
I like Smart & Schroeder starting in backcourt alongside the Jays and one big. That gives us the most ball-handling & passing & team speed (offensively & defensively).

Ime has problem bench guys who play hard like Pritchard and Nesmith but the "Stars" get a pass! Tatum and Brown need to step up if this is their team. Coach needs to start bench guys who don't play hard! Smart needs to be benched he's coasting most of the games. He's supposed to bring intensity but he's not. If I have to watch Smart walk the ball up one more time this season I'm going to scream!

But noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo……

We can’t have a Rick Carlisle

That’s not cool……we need a feel good coaching change ….not an old dinosaur coach who demands players earn their millions

At least Lebron and Jayson and Jaylen are happy that we surrendered to the social "justice" crowd and hired one of the NBA's long ignored black assistants to be our head coach. After all, placating these political morons is more important than choosing our coach based on experience and competency. We can all sleep well at night.

It really does not surprise me that Brad hired a soft coach. He always liked soft players because he probably does not want to deal with strong personalities.

I said that once I said it 1000 times since Danny hired him…..he protected him from the ruff players ,  ones you need , if winning is slightly important.

being a coach is not necessarily about looking like one or being a compassionate human 24/7 ,  when people are paid millions as professionals, you hold them accountable.

I would be ready to quit if I was Horford ….or Doc in Philly…..wet nursing that seven foot baby Ben Simmons .

There's no shooting Guard in that lineup. That's why the spacing is so bad. There are 5 plus defenders in our starting line up that can't defend except when they start playing hard at the end of games. They aren't playing hard enough.

SHAME!!!!

The full quote: "I'm trying to ramp him up during the game, pump him up to get going. But the contrast of some of those previous games, especially Charlotte and the New York game and the way you see him come out tonight is kind of mind boggling."

Also concerning, especially from a star player.

One thing Ime has going - he’s at least not afraid to call the guys out. The question is whether he can do anything about it.

Pritchard DNP. It doesn't look like he's in Ime's plans, at least for now.

He plays too hard. Pritchard has NEVER not played hard and he can't get in a game. Good message coach.

I’m glad he’s calling them out but I’m not sure if I’m a fan of him saying this to the media. It can easily backfire…

Where was the Jaylen Brown who put up Jordan-like numbers the other night. Looking like pedestrian lately

Hey, leave Jaylen alone. After all, now that we hired the coach he wanted, Jaylen is all in for Coach Ime, "He has my full attention, my full respect. I’m completely bought in." I'm sure that's why Jaylen, Jason and Marcus are bringing incredible intensity every night.

Doc went at Pierce his first year in Boston, and took him some time to get Pierce to mature and take the next step. He benched him during that time too.

I'm hoping Ime can do the same with these guys, but he has his work cut out for him. It's not just one player, it's several of them.
