14 of the Celtics 28 losses are by 5 points or less.

On a recent edition of Draymond Green’s podcast, Bradley Beal said of Tatum, “I would always tell Jayson when he was younger, ‘You’re gonna be a million times better than me.’ To see it happening as fast as it is, is really crazy. It’s very crazy. To see the success that he’s had, I forget how young he is… He’s the next face of the league. I told him that is your goal.”  – via Joey Linn @ Sports Illustrated

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

UPDATE: Per head coach Ime Udoka, it’s unclear when Williams suffered the injury, but he was in “quite a bit of pain on the lateral side” when he left the game and will have his knee scanned in the morning. He won’t travel for the game in Toronto tomorrow (and it’s unlikely that Al Horford will be available either).-SB Nation

Doesn't sound good.  Hope it's nothing a couple of weeks of rest can't fix.  We need him.

Guess Grant will be the starting 5 with Tatum at the 4? Smart, White, Brown, Tatum, Grant.  :P

I’d say bring back Kanter, but I think he’s burned that bridge.

If Rob's injury is somehow serious and he misses the playoffs, we're done. It will be like KG's knee injury that robbed us of a title all over again.

He'll be back.

I’d say bring back Kanter, but he’s bad at basketball.

Cs point differential over the past 27 games - which will go up after tonight’s game - is +15.6

I mean, as an insurance policy I’d prefer him over Kornet. Kanter is a 10 year NBA vet with career averages of  11pts/8rebs.

I can't help it. That KG injury and Perk's ACL tear in the playoffs are hard to forget!

Luckily it doesn’t matter because it’s against the rules of the CBA for us to resign him this season.  I, for one, will not miss watching him play defense.  Kornet isn’t very good either but at least he knows how to play a drop coverage.
