Can't help but feel a bit jealous PHI and MIL get TOR and CHI while Boston has to battle against BKN...
Why are you assuming it's going to be a battle before we've even started to play?

I wouldn't be shocked to see somebody take a shot at Embiid before this series is over.  Dude hit two guys in the face and probably ended Barnes' series early, and this is just the first game.  While I don't think any of those plays were intentional, I do think he's reckless and dudes aren't going to let him endanger everybody else on the court.

Joel was playing MMA with the Raptors game 2 they will double and triple Joel probably take a shot at him.

The game and fans have become so soft.  I miss 80s basketball.

I think the 76ers and the Bucks might gentleman sweep the Raps and Bulls.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

I don’t think this is true. I think everyone has a healthy respect for Durant. The nets played like a 50 win team when he was in the lineup and he almost beat the champion bucks basically by himself last year. I am actually getting a bit worried how arrogant some fans on here are being about this. Not good karma.

Who wouldn't want to play against that Nets defense.  The Nets only hope to win the series should be if KD and Kyrie shoot lights out.

I'm more worried why fans aren't excited to face the Nets. After the run the Celtics had this year, with Marcus Smart likely to become DPOY (seriously why is NO ONE on this site is talking about this?). This is an elite team ready and focused, if they're truly worthy of becoming champions then they should be able to beat the Nets.

There are objectively easier draws we could have had in the first round like the bulls. Durant is a top 5 player, and like I said, they played at a more than a 50 win pace when he was in the lineup. They wouldn’t be the 7 seed if he had not missed substantial time where they went massively under .500 (were also missing kyrie for many of those). Don’t really see the benefit of being all cocky about it. I think we can win, but it is stressful with our 3rd or 4th best player injured.

I think the C’s win in 6 or 7 games, but that doesn’t mean I’d prefer to have to face the Nets first round. Boston played them at home a month ago and they needed a 54 point performance out of Tatum to get that win. It was tight the whole way. I have no idea why people think this is going to be an easy series, especially with Simmons likely back for game 3 in Brooklyn. The C’s have the most difficult path to the Finals as they will need to go though the Nets and more than likely the Bucks, followed by the Heat. That’s a brutal draw.

Because Brooklyn has looked so incredibly vulnerable since then.

The Nets finished the season 10-5 and they took care of Cle rather easily in the play-in. That doesn’t sound like an incredibly vulnerable team to me. Toronto and Chicago are the vulnerable teams.

And we have lost 6 times since January ended. They also did not take care of Cleveland rather easily - they continuously failed to put them away, despite Jarrett Allen not playing (also, it's Cleveland!)
