Also, I take what I said back about the first round being kind of boring a few days ago. Games have been great today
It's weird, the East has had much more competitive games, but the West has the series' that have had actual upset games.
because the West is the deeper better conference.  ;)

Parity doesnt equal depth  ::)

Topographically, the east is deeper and always has been.

But....the west has the Rocky Mts and the Grand Canyon...color me confused

And the West has Death Valley.  I wouldn't take the original comment too literally.

I'm not sure that what has happened supports that. But I'm not reopening arguments over what depth means

Haha yeah it got to the point of arguing with someone whether California was on the ocean by the end of it. TP gouki.

That's a big blow to the Bucks playoff hopes

Wow.  That's huge.  That's no remainder of 1st round and probably no conference semis

Hard to see them getting out of the 2nd round without Middleton.

So Milwaukee now has a rotation of:

Bigs: Giannis, B.Lopez and B.Portis
Wings: Wes Matthews, Grayson Allen, Connaughton
Guards: Jrue Holiday, Jevon Carter

That wing rotation is a major weak point without Middleton there to hold it up. And Jevon Carter at PG = not sold.

Boston should run right through that team in the 2nd round. Milwaukee is cooked without Middleton.

Injuries suck, man.  Feel terrible for Middleton.

EDIT:  Feel terrible for Booker too.

If that's right it take him out through about the first half of the second round at the low end of the timetable. Four weeks is likely the whole second round.

I think the Bucks should still beat the Bulls but the Bulls have a shot now and obviously big break for the C's if they can advance. That team was already light on perimeter threats even with Middleton.

Booker out 2-3 weeks

This feels kind of big. Maybe Booker can come back by like Game 3 of the 2nd round, but the Jazz/Mavs won't be an easy 2nd round opponent for the Suns without Booker.

That's really tough for the Suns. CP3 ain't getting any younger and another postseason run may be slipping away.

The suns are good enough that they should beat the NOP even without booker. The start of the 2nd round is 2 weeks away. So i think this is still salvageable for PHO.

The 2nd round they'll be playing Utah or Dallas. If Dallas is still without Doncic, I'd favour Phoenix without Booker in both of those matchups. If Dallas has Doncic, I might go with Dallas. I don't see Utah beating Phoenix. Phoenix has better depth.

Looking good for Phoenix to make it to the Conference Finals without Booker giving him time to return. Phoenix still in good shape despite this loss.

Milwaukee, on the other hand, I do not like their chances of getting out of the 2nd round. Boston is clearly better than MIL minus Middleton.

Isn't Luka playing tonight?  At least yesterday it certainly looked like he was going to play today and I haven't heard otherwise yet.
