TP for the post. I wasn’t around for the Bird era, so growing up watching Pierce was really special for me. His Jersey was The only Jersey I’ve ever purchased for any sport and he was the reason I wanted learn to play basketball.

Great speech. I had to watch some Pierce highlights after. It’s easy to forget just how insanely clutch Pierce was. It always felt like the Captain could bring it home if it came down to the last shot
