Between Millsap and Aldridge, it looks like Alize Johnson is going to be out of a job.  He's someone I'd be very interested in taking a flyer on if he's released at the end of camp, over a Bruno Fernando, for instance.

I'd take Johnson for Parker's unguaranteed contract if The Nets want to dump him to sign Aldridge.

We could take him into a trade exception, but there's no need to send Parker back.  Only guaranteed money counts for salary matching purposes, and the Nets wouldn't want him on their books at all.

I agree with that too, but Parker is more controversial around these parts, so I went with Bruno instead.  I certainly think he could compete with Grant and Jabari for backup minutes at the 4.

The Nets would have 14 guaranteed contracts after getting Millsap and Aldridge and buying out De'Andre Jordan, plus a partial guarantee to Bembry, and no guarantee to Johnson, which makes him the most likely to not survive the roster cut.

I assumed he meant waive Parker to make space for Johnson.

I love Alize Johnson. He’s 6’7 and averages 17 rebounds per36!

He'd be a great energy guy off of our bench.

The Nets are just going to rely on offense. There's no D in Nets!

They won’t need defense with that powerhouse of offensive players
C/PF-Horford, Baynes, Noel, Theis, Morris,
SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark
PG- Irving, Rozier, Larkin

I still like him even tho we’re getting Hernangomez.  He’s (a little) cheaper than Parker for the 15th spot too.
