Calling it right now for 2021-2022: 1st in the East and fall short in 6 or 7 against Brooklyn or Milwaukee in ECF (but it’ll be a heck of a fist fight). Tatum and Brown are going to both leap into the top ten. Tatum possibly in the top five. Unlike Stevens, they’re going to listen to Udoka and make that transcendental leap we’ve been waiting for.
Wrong about Brown, as I quickly learned to start the season (but he’s coming along and I’m back on JKJB unless a top ten player becomes available). Hopefully wrong about falling short this year. I remember writing this and thinking to myself at the time, “you’re such a Homer,” but it’s not looking so cray any longer.
It's possible for the Celtics to be #1 in the East by the end of the day. It feels cray.
