TP. That’s super cool. Love the trends you see - the dominance of Dirk’s midrange game, Curry’s prevalence from the wings but not the top of the key, Allen’s corner three focus, etc.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

Ariza and Jason Terry next to one another makes me laugh, surrounded by the greatest shooters at the PG, SG and PF spot of all time.

Kobe Bryant scored 33,643 points over this time period yet only appears once. Implies (to me at least) just how versatile his scoring was.
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

Very cool graphic. I'd like an interactive version where you could slide the scale to change the years and see how it changes.

That's a whole lotta Dirk!  Good for KG sneaking in there with that baseline magic.

72% of those points were scored over Antawn Jamison.

6 zones = Dirk
3 zones = Duncan, Steph, LeBron
2 zones = Shaq, Lillard, Harden
1 zone = Kobe, KG, R.Allen, T.Young, Ariza, J.Terry

My goodness, Dirk Nowitzki. Way to dominate.

You have to slide over to the right a bit to see it all. It’s actually:

6 zones = Dirk
4 zones = Ray, Steph
3 zones = Duncan, LeBron
2 zones = Shaq, Lillard, Harden
1 zone = Kobe, KG, T.Young, Ariza, J.Terry

The guys with 3 zones or more (Steph, Ray, Lebron, Dirk, TD) would make an absolutely ridiculous starting five.

Not only the 5 best shooters but they can each operate in their preferred areas while sharing the court. Duncan near the basket, Dirk in the midrange and high post, Ray in the corners and Steph closer to the middle, with Lebron handling the ball and penetrating.
2023 Non-Active, Non-NBA 75 Historical Draft, SAB Bulls:

PG: Deron Williams 08 / John Wall 17
SG: David Thompson 78 (HOF) / Hersey Hawkins 91
SF: TMac 03 (HOF) / M.R. Richardson 81 / Tayshaun 07
PF: Larry Nance Sr 92 / Blake Griffin 14
C: Lanier 77 (HOF) / Brad Daugherty 91 / Camby 07
