Likewise.  Celtics must like him.

I think Romeo is traded before the season is over.

Hadn't even begun to think about the implications for Romeo. Not a good sign for him.

I like Richardson a lot more than I do Romeo, and I like Nesmith more than him too. Then we've got Brown and Smart ahead of him as starters. Where does he get his run?

I still like Romeo as a player more than Nesmith, but Romeo brings a lot of the same stuff to the table as Richardson, whereas Nesmith has a different skillset, so it’s tough to see him getting any kind of minutes.

This is great news for the C’s. Really surprised a starting caliber wing would agree to that after  seeing what other guys are signing for. He’s only 27 years old too.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Is this two years 24 million after this year or a redone contract for 24 million for this year and next?

Seems like after all of next year's big free agents signed extensions, Brad decided to reup all of our free agents so that they don't get any above market offers next summer from teams that have cap space.

It’s one more year at $12.2 million.

I got it. He's got 11.5 this year and 12.2. It was the 24 million combined that threw me.

Interesting. I’m a big Richardson fan and love what he brings us, but I’m surprised by this. You’d think we’d want to keep a few expiring contracts for trade purposes at the deadline, but maybe Brad is looking more for trade possibilities next summer and having traceable contracts then (in addition to just liking these guys’ fit with us)?

It makes sense from a stability standpoint.  It might suggest that the Celts aren't aiming to make a big move at the trade deadline, but they'll maintain flexibility into next summer.

He's only 22 so not a bust quite yet but his time is running. He needs to lit a fire under his own ass at this point. Nesmith seems to go harder all the time he's on the court.
