Not much from what we already know, again haven't watched it fully and have been doing other stuff so not paying much attention.

But he says he has the green light to go over the tax (I think this mean over the Apron as we're de facto over the tax no matter what at this point I think) and that part of the reason he didn't want to hard cap us is to maintain the flexibility to use the TPE's if warranted and what not.

Otherwise, seems fairly standard Q & A... from what I've gathered.

And that the roster is pretty much done at this point, just some minor things that need to be taken care of around the edges (we do need to trim a roster spot after all).

Don't know if Jabari was mentioned, but I doubt he's cut before training camp and what not. I hope to keep him myself.

I believe the quote was to go "deeper into the luxury tax", so yes, they've gone with the taxpayer MLE to give flexibility later in the season if an opportunity presents itself.

Jared Weiss doesn't know what he's talking about. The Celtics could've used a portion of the non-taxpayer, but still the same amount used, and we wouldn't have been hard capped. I think the only reason we presumably used the tax-MLE is because we are already above the apron in whichever calculations were needed to be made to determine that. But it's twitter, we can give the benefit of the doubt for lack of elaboration .

Said another way, the important part of this is the amount used, not the exception used.

But yeah, we're already paying tax if we stay as is as far as I can see, so the question now is if we make moves to get out of it (trade Dunn and such) or we go deeper into it.

No, but he did say that he liked how Bruno played in the summer league. Hopefully that means he’s sticking around.
