Maybe they can become the Portland Trail Blazers of the east? It would be a good-rebounding season if they make it to the ECF and get bounced from there, again.

Gotta stay healthy.

This.

We do this, and we'll contend for top 2. (in the conference. Top 4 in the League I'd say.)

50 win team for me. Last year was a complete disaster....and they were still .500.

Health, youth development, a more engaged team due to a new coach, better defensive intensity, bench upgrades, a normal Summer League, a normal training camp, a normal pre-season, a normal non-condensed season that allows for regular practices and this team wins 50+.

Where that places the team, I am not sure. But I am looking at ECFs.

Top four. (More along the lines of 4th best record)

A great deal depends on health, especially at the center position. I believe our bench is improved and deeper. I know little about the new coach, but his pedigree looks pretty good.

I'm optimistic but I'm always optimistic this time of year.

It'll be interesting to see what Smart, Brown, and Tatum look like under a different coach for the first time.

There are so many question but if Timelord can stay reasonably healthy, Horford has something left in the tank, a couple of the young guys hit (Prichard? Nesmith? Langford?), a couple of the reclamation projects hit (Jabari? Schroder? Richardson?) this team could be amazing.

That's a lot to fall into place but none of which feels crazy.

I'm looking forward to seeing how it works out.

The ceiling is 3rd or 4th in the conference. The floor is the play-in games. Most likely 5th or 6th.

I think our ceiling is higher, albeit it’s unlikely we reach it.  It requires Timelord and Nesmith taking leaps, with improvement across the rest of the roster as well.

It's a rosy full-upside scenario but very possible.

Yeah, with full health, I think we will be an excellent squad.

I agree.

This is a much more experienced and well-blanced roster than last year's group. I also thinking bringing in a new coach is going to be a big boost. Ime Udoka is going to demand accountability. I'm starting to get excited about the coming year!

I am cautiously optimistic, as we don't have half a roster of g league level talents like last year.
