Still have alot of way to go. He struggles under real ball pressure. I can only imagine how All-Defensive guards will eat him up if he's playing the starter next season. He also struggled last season in the Nets series.

Good thing we brought some playmaking veterans to mentor him.

And take his minutes too.

Pritchard will not get double teamed and have the best defender in college basketball and the draft on him every night.

Pritchard was gassed. Missed shots he was making all week. He gets a pass from me.

Lol well I guess a pessimistic overreaction thread is needed for Summer League. In any case I expect Dennis Schroder to run the offense regardless.

If Pritchard is double-teamed during the regular season that will be a good thing for The Celtics.

I think Pritchard is an incredible player but at his height just doesn’t have the physical freakish ability on the level of these best players in the world to create separation. I’m not sure where that leaves him. Always be an nba player but also never gonna be a 6 man of the year candidate either. All the props in the works to him though. Dribbling drills s^^^^^^^^ck!!!! Not fun. Amazing handle.

Kings didn't even need a double. They just needed Mitchell to shut him down.

But they doubled him constantly.

I can see him having a niche as an Eddie House type player. Very good shooter but not someone you can consistently rely on playmaking. Smart looks like Magic Johnson next to him.

I've been banging this drum for a while but;

I reckon CBS knew. If I'd be a betting man, I'd say this is why he was sat down a lot whilst fans were complaining of him not getting minutes.

We also saw him quite often pick up the ball after getting into the key, being stop at the middle of the freethrow line, ball in hand, looking for an out.

Whenever he gets pressured, he has issues.

.edit: so here's to beating my own drum :D

The problem with Pritchard is some teams have found out his weakness; press him.

Watch next game. It's why he got yanked here too.

Under pressure, he struggles to create. Which is fair enough.

Did you see the other 3 games he played? You don’t seem credible. Having one off game out of 4 is normal for a 2nd year player and it happens to Smart all the time.

PF: Larry Nance Sr 92 / Blake Griffin 14
C: Lanier 77 (HOF) / Brad Daugherty 91 / Camby 07

Yeah, that was a quick flip. I'm still a fan of Pritchard. It's one bad game. Pritchard had a great Summer League. Played against Suggs fine. The whole team had a bad game, they happen, that's why basketball has series, not a winner take all in one game.

It *can* be a problem if all the off games start appearing in a pattern: when pressed by a halfway decent defence.
