Wasn't Kidd's wife beating him up too?
I don't know why he gets all the blame. That was a toxic toxic relationship on both sides.
He's the only one in the relationship arrested for it, right? And he's the only one who plead guilty. And she's the one who the kids stayed with when he abandoned them.
I don't think there is any evidence or any court finding that 6'4" professional athlete Jason Kidd was a battered husband.
Exactly. Also, if a woman is getting physically abused by her husband, I would hope at some point she hits back.
Or his wife started it all and Kidd fought back and because he is bigger he did more damage.
My guess in that relationship where we have reports of both individuals being violent and there being multiple incidents of violence that both were violent and both were to blame.
Again, though, we have *no* reports of violence by his wife other than the self-serving reports of Jason Kidd. No police reports, no bruises, no witnesses, no admissions. We have all of those things about Jason Kidd's violence.
Why are you blaming the victim?
It is not clear she is a victim.
Edit: Say that better. It is not clear she is only a victim.
I just don't buy that at all. Victim blaming at its finest. It is pretty clear Kidd was a serial abuser. It started before they were married and continued long after he pled guilty to it. There is absolutely nothing anywhere that would lead anyone to believe that she was violent towards him other than his divorce filing (those are always incredibly self serving).
