PHEW, definitely glad we got this done and what a deal imo!  Less than 6m, absolute steal

Great news. Signing Schroder to this deal is the cap off to a fantastic off season IMO.

Horford
Kanter
Schroeder
Richardson

We'll see what happens with Dunn but these additions are injecting a wealth of NBA experience to a roster starved for an identity. Lets gear up for War this season.

So does this make smart our sixth man?

Schroeder
Brown
Tatum
Horford
Timelord

Or will horford play the 5? Considering timelord will be injured half the season I’m sure Horford playing the 5 is the more likely scenario.

Supposedly he understands he's coming off the bench behind Smart.  I'm all for a motivated Schroder.

I read that there were no promises made, and that the decision would be completely up to Udoka.

I hope that's true, I was just going off of what Abbey, Scal and Cedric were saying during the summer league game.  I think Schroder starting would be good, and they can easily run both Smart and Schroder in lineups.

bargain of a contract, but im hard pressed to think of a worse shooting back court in the modern era.

Our top three guards were equally bad last season ason.  33%

Yeah, I’d bring Richardson off the bench.

Schroder did shoot 38.5% from 3 the season before last, 47% overall over 65 games while averaging 19.

He also shot 36% from 3 for the Lakers last year in March and April after he adjusted to the team, so I don't think he's a problem shooting wise.

Also I didn't realize he had covid at the end of the year last season which obviously doesn't help.

There wasn’t a better player available at that price.  He will allow the Celtics to play multiple styles.

I hope he’s not an ass in the locker room.  4 teams in 4 seasons and none of three previous 3 seem to regret losing him.

Guess that truly makes him Rondo Light.

He's always been a bit streaky but he can shoot and he gets hot in some games.
