Celtics will have a new center at summer league tomorrow as Bruno Fernando has been added to the roster following completion of trade with Hawks, Kings.
I figured this would happen once the trade was completed. No other reason for him not to be there.

He's very aggressive on both sides of the ball.

This 29 year old Jānis Timma is a 6'8" shooter with size! He's playing with Orlando and before I looked up his age I was sold!  ;D

He's moved the ball well for them and is communicating really well on defense. Looks solidly built like he could play some small ball 5 because of his strength. I haven't seen him have to defend in space yet.

I like him a bit too.

Yeah, he's big and strong and can shoot. He looks very decisive in everything he does.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

LOL.....

Yeah, because we all know that teenagers, playing in their very first professional game, with no experience with their teammates or the system they are playing in, always will play the exact same way for their professional careers. Clearly we can all see that judging talent definitively based on only their first Summer League game is the right way to go when judging young talent.

Everyone remembers Damian Lillard dominating in the 2012 Summer League. What about his co-MVP, Josh Selby? ;D

Marcus Garrett, my draft binkie this year, looks like an NBA player. Too bad Miami will probably give him a two way contract.

Yeah, I’m not thrilled with some of the names on the C’s summer league roster. Feel like there were better prospects out there, Garett being one of them.

Why would Garrett possibly want to come to a Celtics summer league team with Pritchard and Yam already on it?  His goal is to earn an NBA or 2-way deal somewhere, and that wasn’t going to come with the opportunity the Celtics could give him.

Well, Pritchard and Yam are PG’s and Garett is a 6’5” combo guard. Yam is most likely going to be overseas this coming season. C’s only have 1 two way player, so they can add another. Edwards should be cut as well. There’s definitely opportunity on the C’s.
