Really weird seeing Michael Beasley play Summer League. He was a bucket back in 2010-11

Heck, this whole Portland team is a throwback! Kenneth Faried, Beasley, Emmanuel Mudiay. So many old names

I thought Begarian really showed toughness and a great body and strength for his age.   He won the game for us.  Romeo looks so quick.   Edwards and Pritchard looked like pros.   Yam was very solid and changed the game when he entered.   He looks very quirky and awkward but had impact and some nice passes.   I don't like that he crosses his legs so much on defense.  Nesmith had some moments and looks like he too, is working hard on his body.

I thought our bigs looked bad.   I was not that impressed with Hauser and his athletic ability this game.

Impressed with Jaylen Green so far. Very athletic and can score from everywhere. Made Some nice passes too.

Mobley’s Defense looks good, buts he’s very raw offensively. Needs to put on 20-30lbs.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Always been a fan of Green. Would have taken him #1.

Mobley gets pushed around really easily. Very hard for him to establish and hold position up against bigs.

Jalen Green looks like T-Mac out there. Way too athletic, not sure why Okoro hasn't been put on him

Summer League is Jalen Green’s wet dream haha, he loves unorganised broken defence.

Green’s scoring ability hasn’t been doubted, it’s everything else that will be questioned. Once teams game plan for him and he’s up against physically stronger athletic opponents, we’ll see if he is a future All-NBA player.

His offensive efficiency, defensive commitment, passing and work ethic will be key for him.

IMO, out of the three top pics, he’s been the one with the highest ceiling, but the lowest floor.

I think Mobley will take at least a full off-season to bulk up, till then I don’t think we can see what he’s fully capable of achieving. I remember listening to a podcast where a draft analyst said he may be better suited to playing as a wing like Durant until he fills out more.

He's been actually trying on defence so far against Cleveland. With his athleticism he should be able to be a good defender. Seems to have a much more aggressive mindset than Wiggins did, so I think he should avoid that level of bust

Alperen Sengun is going to haunt us. The exact player we needed with our pick.

How’s he going to do that with no handle and a below average jump shot?

Oh yeah you’re right.

I don’t think his floor is anything near Wiggins. Wiggins doesn’t have a high i.q of Green, he never seems to enjoy basketball or like you said the playing aggression of Green.

I was thinking more like Kevin Martin or younger Zach LaVine.

He’s got great passing vision and he is a good shooter but only as a catch and shoot.

He’s not carrying an offence anytime soon, the reference was defensively as a wing and he’s mobile enough on offence to stay outside the perimeter.

Giannis did the exact same thing the first two seasons of his career.
