This commentator for the Det/OKC game is saying that Kyle Lowry should have a statue outside of Toronto’s arena. Says that he Is the greatest Raptor of all time and delivered them a championship.
He is right about being the greatest Toronto Raptor of all time, although the bar is reasonably low.
I know it was Kawhi that did most of the heavy lifting, Lowry was huge in winning a championship, he hit some big shots himself and his defence was invaluable.
When it comes to the statue, who knows what level a statue is worth these days. Shaq has a statue outside the Lakers arena and he was only there for 8 years, forced his way out in the process and probably cost Lakers two titles for being extremely petty with Bryant.
It wouldn’t surprise me one bit for Harden to eventually get a statue outside of Rockets Arena. If I was the team owner that guy wouldn’t even get his jersey retired.
