I don't think keeping Brown was ever in Stevens plans. We could be opening up a bit more cap room and/or roster spot for more moves.

If Smart, Richardson, and Horford can bring 40 points a night and Tatum and Brown 50 points a night you only need about 10-15 points off the bench to be a good scoring team.

That's a team with no margin for error - no off nights, no injuries, no covid. Even then, opposing defenses will just load up on the Jays and dare someone else to beat them.  We'd absolutely need another player that can create their own shot.

Ah, I wanted to see Moses Brown in action.

I think that big men have a historically low value in today's game. If shooting is an issue, they might not be able to finish games (look at Rudy Gobert/Drummond). Mobley was the best prospect and he went 3rd. The Turkish league MVP waited til 16, while unfinished guys like Kuminga and Zaire Williams flew off the board.

Is Josh Richardson good? I don't have a strong memory of his impact on winning.

You can include them. You just can’t combine them to make salaries match.

I assume that means Brad preferred Bruno Fernando to Moses? He was drafted at 34 in the year Moses went undrafted and didn’t play much due to being behind Capela and Onkongwu. So, maybe he still has upside?

Sum total of the Gordon Hayward trade to Charlotte for the Celtics: In: Evan Fournier to end 2020-21 season (at least), Josh Richardson Out: Gordon Hayward, Jeff Teague, Moses Brown and four second round picks (2 to CHA for the TPE, 2 to ORL for Fournier)

So, arguably we would have been better off letting Hayward walk for nothing.
