Turner has some talent and is not priced terrible contract wise.  I think Indy is motivated as He and sabonis are not a great fit on the floor together.  If that allows us to move TT and a few salary matches it might not take more.  If they really want smart then I want more back from indy as I think there would be a penalty to take their contract off their hands for another center.  Not sure we can match brogdan and turner without a S&T for Evan, but might be worth it.
Pretty much.  I wouldn't give up Smart unless Brogdon is coming back in the deal.  However, my strong preference is to keep Smart.  Much as I hate to part ways with Timelord, Turner is better.  I'm still unsure if this solves the PF gap but I imagine the combination of Turner, Horford and Tatum can cover those minutes.

Here we go again.  Can't see RWill being sent for Turner, same person no and isn't RWill younger and cheaper right now?  I think RWill is heading to the Wiz for Beal and Turner will come to the C's for Langford.

And before anyone runs those through a trade machine, obviously, there will be other pieces involved.

I'll believe this rumor when Woj reports it.  As of now it's a random fake story.  Also no one else has picked up on this rumor at all.

I can't conceive a trade that's beneficial to both teams. Can't imagine it's Horford or Fournier or RW/TT. The only trade that seems to work for Indy is Smart, and that makes no sense for us.

Maybe part of a sign and trade for fornier? Just reaching but they may want to keep that cap space filled short term.

I take Turner over TimeLord anyday
Opposite.

Timelord's health is a real concern now. But when he's healthy, he's flat out better than Miles Turner.

RW has missed 50% of his games due to injury or some sort of ailment since he was drafted.  He’s literally be out injured half of his entire NBA career.

At what point does availability start to become more important than a slightly higher talent level?

Gordon Hayward is a better basketball player than Evan Fournier, but which player would have helped the C’s more from 2017-2020?

Turner also averaged over 30 mpg when he did play though. Williams couldn’t even crack 20 mpg. I dont like Turner for the Cs but he’s an Ironman compared to Timelord.

If Brad is talking to Indy, and this part of the report could be true, they could be talking, I think he is talking trade about other players, not Turner. Brad talking trade about Brogdan, Sabonis, Warren or even Justin Holiday makes sense. Brad talking trade about Myles Turner, makes no sense. So, I don't see the Turner talks being true, but, as I said, they could be talking, just about other players.

If you want to trade for Turner because you don't think Timelord can stay healthy, you'll get no argument from me.

But if we're talking about what these two can do on the court, I think Timelord is better.

I don’t disagree with you, I thought I made that pretty clear in my post.

The point was, Turners availability balances the scales in terms of overall value, some would say it makes Turner the more valuable player.

Just pass, we have enough quality centres on our roster. I would be interested in Brogdon though.

What if RWill to the Wiz for Beal is a thing?  Do we have enough then?
