TT, GW, Edwards and Smart for Bledsoe

Pelicans get out of Bledsoe’s contract a year early and put solid veterans around Zion on a 1 year rental. They also get some low end prospects on rookie scale deals with declinable team options if they don’t pan out

Celtics save $7 Million which enables them to overpay Fournier on a 2 year deal.

C - Horford/TL/MB
PF - Tatum/Parker/
SF - JB/Langford/Semi
SG - Fournier/Nesmith
PG - Bledsoe/Pritchard/Yam

Fill out the roster with the Mid Level and get minimums. Have a few good playoff runs the next 2 seasons then add Beal to Tatum, JB to the other players still on their rookie deals but now veterans with playoff reps. 2023 = contend

Smart is a better player than Bledsoe. Pass.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Why trade for an older, lesser player?

Are we getting picks back or something? Because Smart at worst is Bledsoe's equal. Bledsoe will be 32 in December and contracted until the end of the 22-23 season, and is a significant injury risk. Let New Orleans suffer his long contract, not us.

If this is some effort to save money for a free agent push later on, why do it at all?
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

I wouldn’t trade any of TT, GW or CE for Bledsoe straight up.

Dudes a cancer. Smart is on another level compared to what Bledsoe could bring to the table.

You should really talk yourself right back out of Eric Bledsoe and attempt to use the excuse of: posting while under the influence(even if it wasn't)!!!

The bar has been set in the East.  Bucks are the Champs, Nets have the best top-end talent, then you’ve got Philly to deal with and then a bunch of teams like Miami, Indy, even Atlanta.

C’s need to add a 3rd all-star or just forget next season.

If I was trading Smart to NO I would want Hart in return instead of Bledsoe, younger and hard nosed defender.

I wouldn't mind Bledsoe for basically nothing in return, but that would be about it and because of his contract Boston would have to include some sort of value.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip
