I just hope unlike Danny , he ll be opened to having star talent playing on the Celtics .

not scared of dealing with the divas

I don’t get this take
He signed or traded for  kg, ray, horford, Hayward, KI, and KW.
Pretty clear track record of bringing in stars

He said divas, not stars.
Um

Yeh. That's a new take. "Danny didn't hire enough divas".

Count me puzzled.

Not surprised.

Can the C’s even sign star talent, from a cap perspective?

This year, no. I think we are thinking long term here.

I think he can. But so could Stevens. I could believe Ainge’s reputation alienating stars, especially someone like Durant (in 2016).

I get the feeling that the price was right on Ime, what with all the worry of luxury tax and all.

I had this thought, but what other, more expensive coach was a better fit?

Carlisle is a bit abrasive.  He’s the only experienced, successful coach on the market.
