I find it hard to believe that my all-time favorite college ball player died 35 years ago yesterday. His death was a devastating loss to his family, friends, and the Boston Celtics. Len's mother, Dr. Lonise Bias, is a remarkable women.

I remember the day well. Horrible, shocking news. Didn’t seem possible.

I remember how excited I was that he was the draft pick and how he was going to be the one who could stay with Jordan and the other young guys going forward.
What a difference he would have made. His passing hurt the Celtics for the next ten plus years.
