Thanks Kemba - really is sad to see you go, just unfortunate things didn't work out the way it was envisioned.

No matter what, this guy was a true Pro his entire time here and has my complete respect.

Interesting to see how a scenario can have so many similarities to Kyrie's (similar play style, came in with high hopes but just didn't work out of injury issues, etc) can go in such different directions when you have a true Pro like Kemba vs a spoiled child like Kyrie.

Truly wish Kemba the best.

Indeed.  Between Hayward and Kemba, we’ve lost a couple of good players and great teammates.  Injuries blow.

Kemba gave us what he could. I think he had a great first year with us but injuries really derailed his playoff run and his second year.

I suspect the trade might’ve been in the works longer than we thought and maybe that’s why the C’s stopped playing Kemba (maybe he could play but they were already being cautious with him) after it was clear we weren’t beating the Nets.

Appreciate the fact he chose us.  Don't blame players for injury issues.  Played hard for us while he was here, wasn't a diva, and gave us some fun moments.

Played hard and didn't quit on the team.

He sure did, he may catch on in OKC as a team leader.

Kemba had an awesome start here. Pity about the injuries. I hope we didn't give up on him too soon. It would hurt to see him get back to his best elsewhere (knowing we did give up too soon).

I am excited to see him play next to SGA to be honest. Those two could be great for one another. Two ball-handling attacking guards putting relentless pressure on opposing defenses. They could be a lot of fun next season. Main question is will Presti give them any other talent to play alongside them (less likely) or will he continue to asset collect (most likely).
