Words cannot describe how much I want to punch Kyrie in the face right now. I am still reasonably young but I can't remember anyone rubbing their feet on our logo like that, even cockroaches like Laimbeer.

Everyone loves to blame Ainge for our recent downturn but the real villan is Irving. He use to talk about the history of the Celtics and pretending to respect the legends like Cousy but Mike Gorman talks about how Irving would ignore him when they would pass each other in the halls even after Gorman said hello. This Edited for profanity.  Please do not do it again. inadvertently ruined Hayward's career, most probably disenfranchised Horford and Terry Rozier, lets not also forget that the Brooklyn pick that was traded for Irving should have gotten us either Sexton, Mikal Bridges, Gilgeous-Alexander or Porter Jr.

I wish nothing but pain and suffering for Kyrie. I hope this demonstration is finally enough for Brown & Tatum to stop cosying up to Irving and see him for the con-artist he really is.

I don't recall Brown ever cozying up to Kyrie.  Brown publicly called out Kyrie while they were teammates in Boston.

Yeah they all cozy to him, it’s disgusting. He has zero respect for them.

Well said, from the heart.

I wish we had some guys like Perk or Garnett or Cowens or DJ or Max or KC and Tommy or Paul Silas who had Celtic Pride and would take offense at Irving's act and put a target on his head for Game 5.

Thank you,

This is what would have happened if KG or Perk was there when Irving disrespected the logo (heck if Tommy was there I'm sure he would have jumped the booth):

Then a bar fight

You mean his acts .....the NBA sucks this is what happens when you allow players to believe they are bigger than the game. Fans are the most irrational people. We are the reason these players make hundreds of millions yet we are not organized. We take what they dish out Fans need to organize and show our power.

They let him get away with burning sage, then calling out an entire city, then stomping on the logo. What exactly did they expect to happen. Now the idiots on Inside the NBA are taking his side. Why wasn’t he escorted by security for stomping on the logo?

Tristan Thompson is the closest thing we have to an enforcer on this team and he, of course,
has a past relationship from Cleveland with Irving.

It would be a great thing to see Brad Stevens speak up with some anger about what Irving did tonite, though he will probably come out soft and be diplomatic about it.

Can you imagine if Red were still around right now ?

Haha - he sure is. And even then he's not really an enforcer. He's just someone that plays his heart out.

Somebody should just dump popcorns at Kyrie Irving's head and throw that bucket at him too on his way to the locker room tunnel.

There's always classless fans in all fanbases, might as well do it to somebody we really hate. In this case-- Kyrie. I think at this point he's more hated than Ray Allen in terms of former Celtics traitors. Probably the most hated in all of league since Kobe/Wade/LeBron.

Kobe and Lebron are archenemies because of playoff battles but nonetheless, are legends you begrudgingly respect.

Kyrie is a nobody.

Yeah, Kobe and Bron have all shown respect to us in the past too. I hate LeBron with a fiery passion, and he's still rungs above Kyrie

Nothing to see here folks. Results are as expected. Anyone who think otherwise is delusional. Heck Id favor the nets even if we had charlotte kemba, healthy jb, williams and even prime pop. Honestly durant has been unstoppable since forever when healthy esp in the playoffs.

Folks like Kyrie and his attention Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline. antics are never truly happy.   Oh, he hurt us by stepping on the logo it only happens hundreds of times during a game when players cross the midcourt.

He has a personality disorder, folks any of this sound familiar.

Quote
Have an exaggerated sense of self-importance
Have a sense of entitlement and require constant, excessive admiration
Expect to be recognized as superior even without achievements that warrant it
    Exaggerate achievements and talents
Be preoccupied with fantasies about success, power, brilliance, beauty or the perfect mate
Believe they are superior and can only associate with equally special people
Monopolize conversations and belittle or look down on people they perceive as inferior
Expect special favors and unquestioning compliance with their expectations
Take advantage of others to get what they want
Have an inability or unwillingness to recognize the needs and feelings of others
Be envious of others and believe others envy them
Behave in an arrogant or haughty manner, coming across as conceited, boaEdited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline.l and pretentious
Insist on having the best of everything — for instance, the best car or office

At the same time, people with narcissistic personality disorder have trouble handling anything they perceive as criticism, and they can:

Become impatient or angry when they don't receive special treatment
Have significant interpersonal problems and easily feel slighted
React with rage or contempt and try to belittle the other person to make themselves appear superior
Have difficulty regulating emotions and behavior
Experience major problems dealing with stress and adapting to change
Feel depressed and moody because they fall short of perfection
Have secret feelings of insecurity, shame, vulnerability and humiliation

The Big 3 killed us but Harris and Brown both had 14 each. That was painful given the lead ended up being 15 (though to be fair the Nets had taken their foot off the gas at the end).

Nesmith had 11, PP had 12, Parker had 10. More time for these guys.
Didn't those guys get almost all of those points in garbage time?

It's hard to see why those guys should play, when the only time all series they have shown they can do anything offensively is in one game where the game was well out of hand and the C's were down by 25 or more.

Like to hear from the Kyrie apologists that defended his sage burning. Why don’t you go ahead and defend him stumping on the Celtic logo. Go ahead!!
Getting upset because a moronic, narcissistic, immature idiot like Kyrie burnt the dried up leaves of a shrub in the Garden might be the stupidest thing I have ever heard of.

Yes, burning sage is an important Native American ritual, but so is doing the sign of the cross for Christians. Are we supposed to get all nuts when an opponent does that in the Garden? Or how about throwing powder in the air before games? Or any other of the crazy pre game ritual stuff players do?

As for a dolt like Kyrie wiping his feet on the logo, he is following in the footsteps of such luminaries as Terrell Owens and JuJu Smith-Schuster. Is everyone supposed to get angry because Kyrie stepped on the Celtics home court logo, the thing every opponent does during games? Is the team supposed to tell the NBA there will be no jump ball at center court because jumping up and down on the Leprechaun is disrespectful? To react to what Kyrie did is stooping down into the same immaturity and idiocy as Kyrie, Owens and JuJu.

I'm actually proud our team didn't react to that ridiculous act in a violent manner as some here have suggested. You want to avenge such pathetic, attention seeking acts like that, don't engage in petty, violent revenge that is going to get you suspended from playing......beat your opponents and knock them out of the playoffs.

Haven't posted in a while, but let's face it, no one is beating the Nets this year, unless Durant gets hurt and can't play! He's back to being the games best player! Maybe in two years we'll be ready to contend for a title!
