At least Game 3 was fun

it was the anomaly and games 1,2, & 4 have been consistent with the regular season. missing brown, timelord, and kemba isn’t the real issue, as we’ve seen the team play just like tonight with those players active. this team needs a significant overhaul in the offseason.

Just throwing crap against the wall.

When you’re missing three starters and our bench blows, isn’t that all a coach can do?

It’s what this coach does

Yeah fans are starting to leave here lol. But me and my friends will just sit and suffer to the end (it's been fun though if you ignore the game!)
Why not.  It is the first and last game of the season with a full house.

You're not going to win many games shooting 35% and the opposition is shooting 60%, whether it's against the Nets or anyone else.

I just wanted for there to be no sweep, and I got my wish. I just find it funny people are getting worked up losing to a team that is massively out of our league.

I have never understood the concept of the rational fan.
It's pretty easy to understand. You can cheer for your team while have an understanding that you're clearly outmatched.

do you still pay $1000 to go watch em lose...do you pay $20.00 for a beer...wear a jersey with another man’s name on it....lose your voice cheering when you know you are outmatched? Is that rational?

Maybe Karl Anthony Towns and his agent will pull a Harden/Anthony Davis...so we can team him with Brown and Tatum

That's the only way to win a championship these days

Yup.....it’s a new era .....thanks bron

Will Kyrie choke against real competition?  Stay tuned
I don’t remember Kyrie playing this hard for the Celtics.

...as long as the Lakers don’t win, everything will be fine

As good and focused as Milwaukee is this year, I don't see anyone beating them.

I think Brooklyn's defense has been exposed in the playoffs. They're lucky that Kemba and TL are out tonight, let alone Brown for the series. I see no way that they're going to have any chance of guarding all three of Jrue, Middleton, and Giannis, and then deal with a much better defense.

Went to grab my takeout, came back it's totally out of hand. I guess it was too much to expect lightning to strike twice :-\
and with both kemba and TL out it would make lighting strikes look like a sure thing.

Celtics were overmatched, as we all knew. but they gave us a win last game.

It took a whole year to finally get full capacity in the Garden I wouldn’t leave.

Oh yeah it's been awesome. Compare it to the situation a year ago from today.

Danny has a lot of work to do this off season. How many roster spots are wasted on this team? Edwards, Waters and Fall don’t even belong in the NBA. Grant Williams, Langford, Semi and Kornet, Nesmith are average players at best who should make up the bottom half of your roster. Kemba is already a shell of himself and you can’t seemed on him. Time lord has potential but he basically useless since can’t stay on the court. Prichard, decent bench player right now but again further down the bench.
That’s leaves them with just Brown and Tatum.
If Ainge doesn’t get his act together Tatum will be leaving when his contract is up.

being a fan is not about being rational. for me at least, it is about supporting your team, watching your team...even when they suck eggs. that may make me a cranky, unhappy fan. but i am still a fan.  ;D

It's just consistency. Really good players have a high standard level of performance and a low standard deviation from their mean. We have too many players that have too high a standard deviation, they can be world beaters one game and trash the next. They just don't shoot well enough consistently, and when they don't shoot well they let it affect their defense. Obviously it doesn't help that the Nets have 3 elite scorers and Cryrie was determined to make up for his mediocre game last Friday.
