At least Game 3 was fun
I just wanted for there to be no sweep, and I got my wish. I just find it funny people are getting worked up losing to a team that is massively out of our league.
Not so sure how massive the difference would be if C’s had Jaylen, Kemba and Timelord.

I really like that minute when Pritchard was pushing the ball until Brad slow him down by screaming a bunch of crap at him. RUN!!!!~!~!

lol

Pritchard is an uptempo point guard not a slow it down and stand in the corner point guard

I have never understood the concept of the rational fan.
It's pretty easy to understand. You can cheer for your team while have an understanding that you're clearly outmatched.

Oh, it would be massive in both directions.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
Nets have two MVPs and another All-NBAer.

We’re missing three starters.

And yet people fault coaching?
People are faulting both. We're riddled by injury and yet Brad is still reverting to people who shouldn't play (Semi) over those who should (Nesmith).

We're also seeing Nash make good changes in reaction to what we succeed with, while Brad makes no changes to what Brooklyn succeeds with.

Brooklyn succeeds with having elite talent that can improvise.  They’re one of the hardest teams to guard in recent history.  We don’t have the personnel to play elite offense or elite defense.

That's Brad's fault too.

Yeah, I've been yelling at Brad all game for giving me a choppy stream. Like, dude, I want a continuous, uninterrupted game experience. It's like he doesn't even care.

Will Kyrie choke against real competition?  Stay tuned
I don’t remember Kyrie playing this hard for the Celtics.

...as long as the Lakers don’t win, everything will be fine

Went to grab my takeout, came back it's totally out of hand. I guess it was too much to expect lightning to strike twice :-\

Just throwing crap against the wall.

When you’re missing three starters and our bench blows, isn’t that all a coach can do?

That's not the point I was making. The Brooklyn defence adjusted to essentially triple-teaming Tatum on the catch, and Brad left non-shooters like Langford out there when he was doing nothing on either end. I don't expect them to win, the talent disparity is too great, but I do expect the coach to actually show up. It was inexcusable to play the lineup he did in the early 2nd quarter, and that's when the gap went from 3 points to double-digits in a blink.

Stevens routinely displays an inability to manage lineups or stagger his star players well, and is always too slow to react to runs. I'm pretty firmly done with him

Your ability to somehow make every shortcoming Brad's fault is obsessive to the point of being pathological. Makes me wonder if there's something more to this with you.

Game thread now deteriorating into a bash Brad session. By the end of the game he'll be responsible for COVID, global warming and the earth being flat (if Kyrie sits out the fourth and hops onto his burner account).

That huge win in game 3 raised the expectations on this team as expected. But with no JB, Kemba, Timelord...I don’t think this impending loss falls squarely on Brad.

It took a whole year to finally get full capacity in the Garden I wouldn’t leave.

Maybe Karl Anthony Towns and his agent will pull a Harden/Anthony Davis...so we can team him with Brown and Tatum
