Celtics FG 36.2%  3PT 7 for 25
Nets  FG  59.1% 3PT 6 for 12

Benches
Celtics 31 minutes 11 points
Nets 31 minutes 6 points

A reasonable number of threes will need to hit if the Celtics are to win.

I dont get the constant switching.  Do we want TT guarding Harden?
It's so foolish. We just saw Tatum get 50 because we were able to generate switches at will. Now we're seeing the opposition demolish us with it and we're not changing anything?? Such amateur coaching

It really is dumb, especially because nobody really "forces" the defense to switch. It's just assumed that you will.
Half the times the screen doesn't even touch the on-ball defender. They just swap... for no reason, and give the offence the advantage

Yeah, fight through!

I wonder if that Thunder team would have won multiple titles if they would have kept that team together.

Not enough balls.

I think they would’ve. They kept the wrong guy (Ibaka instead of Harden).

Definitely a sliding doors moment for that franchise.

Tatum has checked out

...of all the possible takeaways a person could have after watching that first half, I don't understand how you could have that one.

Tatum is playing his ass off.  He was out there for all but 3 minutes and he was aggressive.  The Nets are throwing everything at him because they think our other guys can't hurt them, and they're right.

No Smart and Fournier 3s today

Cant win

Fournier is a mediocre defender. Harden is scoring a will

I don't get it.  Crash with less than 2 minutes and Semi with over 5.  Put Crash and Payton in for 3s.  No one is stopping their big 3.

We need some offense, because clearly they can't stop the Nets from scoring at 60%.

See referees can affect the game in ways you don’t even know. The Cs are banged up and thin. You want to further handicap them, you call a tight game. That is what refs did in first quarter. What happened in the second is a natural result of how the game was called in the first.

All of a sudden the Cs adjust to the whistle by backing off the nets. Result is open shots and trips to the basket.

Refs win...and you don’t even notice.

Today is the kind of game Nesmith and Pritchard could come alive and make 5 threes

Brad has to find the hot hand...

Tatum needs help

Smart and Fournier shot 9-15 from 3 in game 3, which meant the Nets paid whenever they trapped JT. Right now they're trapping JT and the rest of the team can't make them pay. Fournier, Smart and Tristan need to come up big in the 2nd half

Also last game Tatum was making the tough shots, the fadeaways over KD as well as being able to pick on Cryrie. He's unable to do so tonight, they're protecting Cryrie from isolations. I think they need to run more high PnR for JT where he can get rid of the ball quick instead of going into his iso as that gives them time to double him

I noticed! They came out at the beginning of the third in game two with like 4 quick cheapies and handed the Nets the game.
