What do expect from each going forward?
I must admit that their shooting or lack of accuracy has been a disappointment.
Nesmith is only a rookie but was considered the best shooter of the draft. Hasnt looked consistent. Missing wide open 3s
Not sure how he shot so well in college, but his jump shot needs work imo. Its like a laser. Like shotput style shooting
Not even sure what to say about Langford shooting..
Do you have faith that these two former lotto picks will be consistent contributers off the bench?
Thanks for starting this thread.
Nesmith: 37% 3pt shooting as a rookie. I would say that's pretty good, especially in a season with, like, no practices. I wasn't expecting to hit half of his threes his rookie year, and no one else should have either.
The real encouraging thing about these two guys is that they both already look like big, athletic, long wing defenders. THAT IS VERY VALUABLE IN THE NBA. Hence the fact that they are already getting minutes at a young age. Let's see what happens over the next 2-3 years, but if you're a hardworking athletic big wing who can defend, your "floor" is already pretty high.
