Smart shooting watch: Q2 3-6 FGA, 3-5 3PA. Great well controlled game so far.

If he takes more than 11 shots we will more likely  lose the game.

Entertaining game so far. But can’t help but feel we could be up 15 at this point.

We’ve played an amazing half but can’t seem to create separation. It means we need to play with the same level of effort, if not even more so, in the 2nd half to pull this out
Can't ask for more. We're lucky to even hold them down at this point. Just need to grind it out.

Agreed. I can’t imagine them playing any better, other than saying something like “shoot better, don’t turn it over, make no defensive mistakes”, but the effort and desire is there. The C’s came to play.

Let’s get it! 24min to goooooo

It's only 1 half but the Nets aren't as scary as they seem on paper - much like our Celtics team when Kyrie was on it.  Of course if they get hot and start knocking down their 3's the script will reverse quickly, but I just don't see much cohesion on offense, and their defense has always been suspect.

As much as I'm happy to see us doing well, in the back of my mind I can't help from thinking that this means the Lakers will win another title this year.

Lakers?

I feel like starting guys who play no defence like Blake alongside 3 offensively-focused stars is a recipe for disaster in the playoffs.
I just don't see how this Nets team could hope to guard someone like LeBron, with Blake being the starting 5.

I know it's still a close game, but overall these last 6 quarters of play-in + playoff basketball by the C's has been beautiful. Where was this effort all season long??

So he should stop shooting?

I think the craziness and lack of Celtic winning this year might all be worth it if they could upset Brooklyn in this first round.

All the reactions from the national media would be like heavenly music playing in my ears.

Even a team like the Bucks. Giannis on the inside, Middleton and Lopez moving off the ball and Holiday handling the ball while giving Kyrie a nightmare on the other end. That's a lot to handle for KD, Harden, Blake and Kyrie.

I would be pretty okay with getting swept in the second round if we could somehow beat Brooklyn

I love what I saw in the first half. Let’s see if we can do another 1/2 and sneak out a win.

I like the effort on def from timelord, nesmith, and EF.  We are getting good def play from literally everyone.

Celtics up 6 at the half, on the road at Brooklyn.  Pretty amazing so far.  It would be great if the Celtics could lock this down and shock the Nets with a game 1 win!!

Celtics 9-17 from 3
Nets 1-12 from 3

That has. Lot to do with it. They’ve been bricking their 3s and we’ve made over half of ours. This team gets energized when they are making shots and when they start missing the opposite happens. We have to maintain the defensive intensity even if we start missing because shooting 50+%from 3 is hard to maintain over the course of a game unless they are all open shots
