Is this the best game if Cam Reddish’s career?

Crazy year. Of the Final 4 teams, with Giannis and Kawhi missing all or some games, who was the best player left playing and how does that player rank as top players?

CP3 at maybe top 25-30?
Is Paul George top 20 good?
Is Booker?
Is Trae?

This "Covid Era" of the NBA has thrown conventional rules about who wins titles out the window except one....health. The healthiest teams seem to be the best in this Era. At least for this year, so much for the idea that you need a top 5 player to win it all. You just had to be good AND healthy.

Sadly for the Celtics, like other teams that played a long time in the bubble, they were far from healthy.

Anyone call Bobby Portis as finals MVP at the start of the season?

I guess if Bucks win , LA and Heat have less chance stealing GA away .

These playoffs exemplified the meaning of team basketball. Both Suns and Bucks were missing key pieces at some point but willed through the post season, granted most of their opponents have missing key players too.

I can't see them beating the Suns. The Suns have been the best team in the NBA since the bubble last year.

The Hawks should be all over trying to trade for Jaylen if they could find a package Stevens would accept.

Trae, Brown, Capella and some of the leftovers after the trade would make the Hawks more dangerous as a team than they aready are. Maybe Brown and being an ECG contending team brings more locals to the game because of the home town guy coming home to play. Brown gives Trae a real top star to grow with as 1A and 1B or 1 and 2 depending who who grows to be the best player.

And, of course, I would hate this and Stevens forever if he made such a dumb trade.

What’s the deal with Giannis’s knee? Is it expected that he’ll be available for the finals?

Can’t recall an NBA playoff that was more impacted by injury than this one has. I don’t think Phoenix would have gotten by the Lakers in the first round if Lebron and AD were at 80% of what they normally are. Feel like the Clippers would have beaten Phoenix in 5-6 games with Kawhi as well.

As for the Bucks, I’m not sure they get by the Nets if Brooklyn had 2 out of their big 3 healthy. Probably lose in 6 games.. and if KD, Kyrie and Harden are playing together, that series is more than likely a gentleman sweep for the Nets.

I’m still looking forward to this Bucks/Suns final. Should be entertaining and I don’t really care which team wins.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Yeah well, if KG doesn't hurt his knee in 2008-2009 season...C's win 3 or 4 Championships with him.

And the sad thing is that this is a very real possibility if our rookie coach can't balance keeping the ball moving and utilising Jaylen properly. It would be incredibly ironic though, imagine asking for a coach who ends up getting you traded lol.

It was never about stacking up on conventional top 5 players (there are like 10-11 of them in the league right now so it's really not only 5 guys) - it was always about assembling the best team, and you can achieve that without that level of player.
