That Kyrie ankle turn looked pretty bad (I'm no doctor though). Couple that with Harden only recently starting on court activities and this series looks like it'll be a coast for the Bucks barring heroics from KD.

Curious to see how they fare vs. Philly, I think those two are pretty evenly matched.

safe to say nba basketball is an injury-plagued sport. Many of the recent championships have been impacted by injuries to significant players.

With the softened rules and modern equipments and supplements, you would think that today's players would be more healthy

Nice to see KD getting roughed up by the Bucks. C’s played him so soft...

Cs are soft, period.
Starts with the ex-coach.

Come back for a bit and see people saying the Celitcs are soft despite the fact that they've probably played Brooklyn tougher than the Bucks did before Kyrie went down. Never change Celitcsblog.

Yep...they get shut down for minor injuries....perhaps some of the PEDs also make them more injury prone. It is serious enough though that player’s durability must be a major element in scouting.

This season's cramped schedule was always going to cause some extra injuries. Worse than normal this year.

No they didn’t play the nets tougher. You are wrong if you think they did.

Yeah, that Kyrie injury looked bad. Will be surprised to see him play again this series, and if he does it won’t be anywhere near 100%, especially playing every other day. Couldn’t have happened to a nicer guy.

But hard to feel bad for Brooklyn. For starters, they’re the most unlikable team by far in the league. Also, they had a ton of help from injuries against us. It would’ve at least been a series if we were healthy.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

Go pre-pandemic and you will see how many chips were impacted by injuries to major players.

Yeah they did but of course this is Celticsblog where hating their own team is normal.

Back in the Day, the players policed themselves. There's a reason no one cheap-shotted a  guy because a goon who rarely played would come in and go right at you. The players did a better job of policing than the refs!

I hope Grant Williams was watching PJ Tucker today. Grant needs to get an edge to his game!

You really think Boston played nets tougher than the bucks have? Really?

Exactly...injuries are real for other teams, but an excuse for the C’s. The team battled the Nets despite their limitations. Playing late in last year’s playoffs didn’t help at all
