Utah vs Clippers gonna be fun, but Clippers will overwhelm them.

Sticking to my Brooklyn vs Los Angeles NBA Finals prediction!

Kawhi playing some legit ball, meanwhile the Dallas offence is sputtering. Have been pretty unimpressed with Rick Carlisle for a while

Kawhi looks regenerated ever since the Lakers got eliminated
Indeed. Coincided with when the Clippers were facing elimination. First time they've shown toughness in a while.

Wonder if the result is the same with Doc

Clippers never got past the second round. Jazz are the real deal!

I think Jazz vs Suns is the WCF.

I have the Suns and Jazz advancing too, but Kawhi could pull off an upset with some heroics. Has before.

I think Luka has indirectly caused Dallas issues with what I call ‘The LeBron Effect’.

When teams draft a franchise rookie they usually have time to slowly build picking up more lottery talent along the way. But players like LeBron & Luka are elite win share producers from the offset. As a result, their team is pushed up into a winning position that the GM isn’t ready for. Without pre-hoarding other teams picks Cavs were never able to get the best young talent around LeBron and I think this could be the case with Luka.

Utah is the real deal.

I hope that’s not the case because it’s a horrible matchup for Utah.

If Harden is available then the jazz have no one on the team who can guard him nor Durant and in that series someone like Gobert might not be even be playable.

I’m hoping the 76ers get by the Hawks because they are the best matchup for beating the Nets.

Simmons can stifle Harden and Durant, Thybulle can frustrate Irving and Embiid can average 50 with Brooklyn’s terrible defence and lack of real rim protection.

It's an interesting point, especially if you contrast it with a team like Atlanta. Went out and surrounded Young with Capela, Bogdanovic, Gallo and Rondo/LouWill. Dallas put all their eggs in the Porzingis basket, so to speak.

If Josh Richardson renounces his Team Option the Mavs will have a fair whack of cap space. Could do a lot to mitigate the "LeBron Effect" if they surround Luka with some of the right role-players.

I think it will be Jazz v Bucks. Which would be very interesting

I hope that’s the case because I like both teams and their small market fans and ownership deserve a win.

Fingers crossed

I genuinely think top 20 may be underselling him.

Wonder what word Disney and ABC would use to describe a Milwaukee v Utah series? No GSW, no Lakers, no LeBron, only Giannis as a superstar, small local television markets playing/no large cities.

They can't be looking forward to that. The series could still pull of big ratings but the fear it won't is probably a major worry for ABC/ESPN/Disney right now.

I’m sure the networks would want Lakers vs Nets but people will always watch the nba finals, the main issue for the league is the regular season. It’s too long and the players don’t care about it anymore and if the players don’t care why should the fans? IMO this is why the rating have dropped.

Yeah gotta find a way for the regular season to count more.
