This is a reminder that injuries to your stars are nothing to scoff at. We have seen the lakers and denver struggle and none of them played the caliber of team brooklyn has.

Please..do you see how the Lakers are fighting. The Cs were terrible this season. If the blow up of yesterday with the changes announced do not convince you, nothing will.

The Celtics undermanned and outmatched, put up more of a fight than the Lakers against the Suns.

Silly homer take....Celtics rolled over...AD tried to go with a groin injury. Kemba..cheesing on the bench.

Wait a minute? You say that nonsense and I'm the fanatic? If anything you sound like a Laker fan with that. ;)

Stop making excuses for the Cs they sucked this past season....led to GM saying no max and coach been relieved of his post..stop the excuses.

Celtics got as far as The Lakers did.

Their (Lakers) season ended right where it should have...lol

So people can't come up with reasons of what happened other than lol they sucked? Okay then.....

Dude the organization’s response says it all....heads rolled

More like man retired because of heart issues.

and the coach? What was his issue?

Got promoted.

As for Danny, no reason to believe that a man of 62 with heart issues with plenty of money and nothing to prove didn't just retire. It's not an easy job.

Now it could be another way, but the simplest explanation is usually the best and the opposing view assumes everyone's lying.

Chris Paul is a stud

Booker is the real stud tonight

Way to turn off the king

Looks like finally he is low on fuel

Just happy Lakers wont win another championship and leapfrog the Celts

I am so happy the Lakers will not get #18 - so relieved we don't have to listen to that.

Lebron has slowed just a bit and will be one year older next season.

They took a chance on oft injured AD may not work out for them...Bronx’s window is closing

There's no team in the Bronx

The bubble really cost the teams that went far.

Glad you are here...maybe you can deal with all these folks still making excuse for the sorry team the Cs put out after the organization admitted failure by cleaning house.

Well the bubble got the Lakers one title so that's all it mattered for that fanbase.

Yes and this is why the narrative of "this team is a contender and this team isn't a contender" or "we are not contender until x tears".... don't seem to me based on reality. Was the Heat a contender at the begening of the PO last year ? Were Phoenix, Utah and Philly at the begening of this season ? We have good material, with good mooves, we can hopefully be comptetitive next year, just in taking the right decisions. Then we will need a good mood, but with all the sh..... we have eaten this year, maybe we have some luck next one.
