Your #2 can’t be as inconsistent as Middleton if you want to win anything.

If the J’s keep progressing and we aren’t playing G-Leaguers because we’re decimated by injuries, the Celtics shouldn’t be afraid of any of these teams going forward.

Any other year we’d still be playing.

I am continually amazed at how consistent Middleton is in the regular season vs how inconsistent he is in the playoffs.

(except against the Celtics)

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Referees took care of this one early. 1-1 series.

Hawks just keep throwing the ball away. 12 turnovers already, with 7 from Trae just in the first half. They only have themselves to blame for being 30 points down.

Ironic that so many on this blog want the C's to get a big PG because Kemba was a 6 ft tall defensive liability, yet two of the team's in the Conference Finals are led by, you guessed it, 6 foot tall PGs.

Reggie Jackson is 6’2”, 210Lbs and has a 7’ wingspan.  Shot 45% from the field and 43% from 3pt this season. CP3 was nearly a 50/40/90 player this season. He’s a nine time NBA All-Defensive player and a top 5 point guard of all time. Both are Superior defensively and overall better players. Have you noticed how neither team is singling out Reggie or CP3 like Miami did with Kemba? There’s a reason for that.

Paul is exactly the type of player the C’s are missing. A guy that has kept everyone on the same page. He’s going to finally get his ring this year.

Certainly looks that way. Suns are a fun team to watch.

I think Ty Lue is ascending to one of the top 5 coaches this playoffs. I'm so impressed with his adjustments, and how he gets the most out  of every player on the court, in spite of all the injuries to their roster.
