Great game until Trae sprained his ankle. What a shame.

Ref sprained his ankle...

Ref was just standing where he's supposed to stand. Just bad luck.

Refs do whistle quite poorly today tho. But nothing new there.

Bucks/Suns final... Doesn’t sound too bad.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

It would be some really good basketball, and some great storylines with CP3 finally reaching the Finals and Giannis' first shot at a ring.

Still maintaining Bucks in 5.  They are just too good for the Hawks to deal with even with Bud on the sideline to mess something up.

C’mon. Hawks win this game if Trae didn’t sprain his ankle. And Boggy is hobbling on a bad knee. If Bucks win in 5 it will be due to those circumstances.
Hawks were up 3 when he went out. They were up 5 with the ball when he came back.   His ankle seemingly didn't affect much especially since he was still bombing shots in the 4th.  The Bucks are just a better team. They have the best player and a more complete and balanced team. It took an all time great performance for the Hawks to win game 1.  Young could never sustain that level of play.  Even Durant couldn't the prior round.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

Out of the way. I've never seen that happen in 50 years of watching games.

Tre was hobbled when he came back. He was moving poorly. It definitely affected the game.

Yeah he was moving so poorly they took the ball out of his hands at the point of attack.  He was obviously impacted.

Young has been awful in the 4th quarter all series.  He was 1 of 7 in game 1.  Didn't play in the 4th in game 2, but was 1 of 4 in the 3rd quarter.  He was awful in the 2nd quarter last night as well at just 1 of 3 for 3 points and a -5 in the 8 minutes he played in that quarter.

That isn't uncommon either.  Young has faded in the 2nd and 4th quarter of most playoff games.  I suspect it is because he is small and has such a load that he just wears down (basically all of game 7 against the Sixers he was bad as well).  There just isn't enough talent around Young and he isn't experienced enough to know when to rest on the floor to withstand grueling playoff basketball with a significant minutes increase.  He may never be able to do it either because even Steph Curry has had a propensity to fade down the stretch of playoff games.

I agree with you both. Think that basically won the Bucks the game. The Hawks were up for the majority of the game.

Yes.  The Suns have overcome a Paul injury and then his Covid bout.  The Bucks have had fewer of their own issues to overcome.
