We’ve definitely played the Bucks better this year than either of the other teams.  On top of that, Coach Bud doesn’t have the best track record with his teams in the playoffs, and they might come out pretty tight against us.  Losing in the first round would likely be the end of his Milwaukee tenure, and there would be a little schadenfreude to our disappointing season to cost a coach his job in consecutive years.

So I wholeheartedly am rooting to play the Bucks.

I'd rather play the Nets just because they are a better matchup for us and aren't a good defensive team.  Plus they've barely played with their full team all year so who knows how it will really work out especially if the chips are down.

They're a bad matchup for Boston. They dismantled us 3 times this year. And now we are without Jaylen Brown, who is crucial in the playoffs esp against this Nets team.

This team may not even get past the play-in. If they do, they're probably gonna get destroyed by whomever they face.

This team cannot beat ANY playoff team if they make it to the playoffs. They will be embarrassed and lose 4 straight by double digits.

I really don't care who we play, to be honest...we have to beat whoever is in front of us. I'm surprised people are showing a preference one way or another...I thought most fans had a champions-or-bust mentality, so basically whether you go out in the 1st round to the Nets or beat the Bucks and go out in the 2nd round to the Heat, or make it to the ECF and lose to the Sixers, end of day you didn't make it to the Championship round.

I just want us to play well

This is a bit of a silly inaccurate post. We didn’t have Tatum for two of the games and we’re still winning halfway through the fourth even without him. Why always present stuff in the most negative possible way for the Celtics? I know if we beat lakers without lebron you would point it out. It’s especially tiresome on a night we had one of our few enjoyable wins of the season.

Definitely the Nets. I think they'll start having significant diminishing returns once all three of their stars play together, and their defence is going to be absolutely woeful.

Their advantage is they can offset playing time to always have 2 of the 3 on the court.  Very hard to matchup with them without Brown.

I was so confused when I read your post, as I thought you were referring to the Nets. Who cares about the Sixers today, when we finally realized the Celtics would be playing the Nets after last night's win.

What the heck are you talking about?  I was commenting on the two possible choices and indicated I'd rather play the Nets than the Sixers because I think we have a better shot at beating the Nets than the Sixers.  My comment was directly on point to one I was responding to about how the Nets dismantled us 3 times this year.  The Sixers also beat Boston 3 times by 8, 12, and 10 points.  The most recent game against the Nets was a 5 point game and we didn't have Brown or Walker, though of course the Nets were missing some guys, which is why I'd rather play them anyway.  I have no idea what kind of team the Nets actually are.  They certainly could play like a team that will have the 2 best players on the floor and 3 of the 4 best when they play the Celtics, or they could look a disorganized mess because they have barely played together.  I just think Boston has a better chance against the Nets than they do the Sixers because Boston has no shot at stopping Embiid and I think there is at least a decent chance the Nets are out of sync and without cohesion opening the door for the lesser talented team to pull off the upset.

My post was also not yesterday at all.  Had nothing to do with the game, a game I picked Boston to win.  So the only thing tiresome is you.  If you don't like my posts, don't read them and you certainly don't need to respond to them.
